Man, again, 12/20 minutes are senseless, u can go out only 2 times max and GG, other u have to use the go out/in from pit without even lap to get infos, and even like that u get 4-5 tries. I really want to see hamilton or rosberg asking for a setup which make them slower, come on :) Apart, GPM/GPW/F1MP didn't teach anything at all? Intended or not, it is senseless, in which world a driver goes in a lap with car turning fast as hell and says "hey, my car is a crap, let's change it so i can't make even a decent lap in my entire career". You only have that little practice time at the beginning of tier 3, you can vote to change the rule or get into the higher tiers to get longer practice sessionsĪlso if the practice sessions are too long its going to be obnoxious and at the same time way too easy to get the perfect setup. Much more time for practice (like it is supposed to be) How it is supposed to work? Cos atm it is just randomly moving values WISHING for the driver to be happy, and it is also a gamble on increasing and lowering them, since it doesn't explain in which direction we are going.Īny of u have any tips related to this? Something to understand how it works atm? (Even i think this is nothing related to an f1 manager game at this moment.) I mean, i have a green area which i think is the area i should make the setting goes tru (since there is no infos anywhere about how it works) and a driver which gives just a sad or happy face, without saying for example "hey, i have too much oversteering" or "my car is too slow" or whatever", basically i'm just jumping out car from box, and right after asking to come back to see the situation, no real info on lap time, cos there is no TIME at all to do that (and i'm playing on long race setting -.-) so short which make them basically pointless Motorsport Manager Mobile 3 is available for Android and iOS.Can someone explain the sense of practices if they areġ. Sadly, there’s no way to respond to the ungrateful wretches with passive-aggressive social media replies in-game. Shortly thereafter, you soon realise how life is on the research treadmill, a driver wining when you’ve had the audacity to create a new component that wasn’t immediately bolted to their car. You do, though, quickly find the opening season was easing you in gently. There’s an immediacy that means anyone can pick up and play, yet enough depth and strategy to cater for gamers who want longer sessions, and to stretch their brains juggling cashflow, research, and abilities. Mostly, it all feels like a management sim for the rest of us. You can blaze through a race weekend in minutes, and will be tempted to have ‘just one more go’ the second the chequered flag’s waved. It’s exhilarating when you push a driver to the limit and they sneak over the line moments before their fuel runs out, their ride threatening to collapse like a clown car in an unfunny circus act. You’re at this point mostly limited to pit-stop strategies and managing tyres and engines. Your cars zoom about, represented as coloured discs (which entertainingly spin when a driver makes a major blunder). ![]() Personally, I thought it was a fun, mobile-friendly mini-game that made a complex area of motor racing feel breezy and human.įinally, it’s race day. If the randomness irks, you can simulate the session instead. But risks are often rewarded by boosts to lap times and therefore grid places. ![]() Go bust (by drawing a 5 when you’ve only 4 left) and you lose everything. Tuning a car involves selecting cards with a number range (for example 4–8), which must fit into available slots. This is one of the controversial new elements in Motorsport Manager Mobile 3. Then you start a qualifying session, and suddenly find yourself in a racing-themed game of blackjack. Tracks are represented as tiny dioramas – slices of landscape you can peer at from every angle in AR if you feel the need. It’s part Civ tech tree, part sports management and there’s an awful lot of tapping and zipping in and out of various screens.īut then it’s racing weekend, and the meat of the game – at least in terms of excitement. As the weeks pass, you earn money from sponsors, add buildings to your HQ that unlock new skills, build parts, and then head to a race in the hope all your decisions will have been the right ones.
